THE EAGLE NEWS
Trinity Lutheran School May 28, 2010
THE END OF ANOTHER YEAR
It is hard to believe that another great year at Trinity Lutheran School has come and gone. We have been so blessed this year to have been given these children to teach and especially to have the opportunity to share Jesus with them. We will miss all the children and their families who will not be coming back next year. God bless you! We look forward to a summer vacation as we know the children are too. By Aug. 23, we will be ready and excited to see the smiling faces of the children coming back to enjoy the 20th year of educational opportunities that TLS has to offer!

WE WILL MISS YOU DEARLY
After seven years of serving as an aide, Mrs. Marilyn Baxter has decided to leave Trinity Lutheran School. We will all miss her very much; she was so willing to serve however and whenever needed. Fortunately, she will still be the head volleyball coach next fall and we will see her around the school with her daughter Bailey. God bless you Mrs. Baxter and thank you for a job well done!! You are an amazing servant of the Lord.
BIBLE VERSE for the summer
"The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you. The Lord look upon you with favor and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Trinity Lutheran Church will be hosting a Vacation Bible School beginning on June 21. If you are interested in attending, please read the church's June newsletter, The Trumpeter, which will have all more details and information. Questions? Call the church office at 856-9340.
DONATIONS NEEDED
The Board of Education is hosting a garage sale on June 5 from 8-noon in the old museum building on Fremont Ave. behind the school. Donations may be dropped off at Bloedorn Lumber during their business hours or you can bring them on Friday, June 4, to the school. They will not be accepting any clothes, and are looking for quality items. Call the school if you have any questions.
LOOKING AHEAD
Mark your calendars now for a summer ice cream social, a dessert auction, karaoke singing, line dancing, and all around fun as we raise money for Trinity Lutheran School. A group of faithful volunteers with the help of PTO will be hosting the event on Sunday, Aug. 15, at St. Marg. gym. Look for advertisements in the newspaper and information in the registration mailing in July. It will be a lot of fun for a superb cause!
GIFTING TREE
A "Gifting Tree" has been placed on the bulletin board by the church office. It will be up most of June and July. Pick an apple from the tree and purchase the item listed. Your donations will help defray some of the school's operating costs for next year. Thanks for helping!
SCRIP ORDERS
No Scrip order will be placed over Memorial Day weekend. We will begin the weekly ordering on June 6.
